The Fire Ancient was an Ancient that could be encountered in God of War (2018) as an optional boss.

The Fire Ancient can be found slumbering at the Isle of Death. The boss battle can be initiated if Kratos attacks it with the Leviathan Axe. During the battle, the Fire Ancient will launch fireballs from its weak spot. Once it is killed, it will drop its fiery heart, the enchantment Fire Sigil of Focus, and some Hacksilver.
According to Atreus in his bestiary, the Fire Ancient's fire is apparently strong, as the former can feel its heat while from the boat. It is presumably responsible for the destruction of the ships that can be found in the Lake of Nine.
Powers and Abilities
The Fire Ancient's durability is the same as all Ancients have: its body is made of rock, this makes it impervious to attacks and damages.
Due to having the elemental power of fire, the Fire Ancient can launch explosive projectiles from its weak spot, which can cause splash damage onto Kratos when they explode. In addition, it can transfer fire to the ground and make it erupt, causing damage to anyone who is close enough.
