God of War (2018)
Although this machine does not appear, when Kratos and Atreus were about to enter Jötunheim, Kratos asked Brok and Sindri to take care of Mimir until they returned. During the time in which Kratos and Atreus scattered Faye's ashes, the Huldra brothers conducted measurements on Mimir's head for a future project, much to Mimir's annoyance.
God of War Ragnarök
After the confrontation against Thor, Kratos and Atreus decide to take residence in Sindri's House and travel to Svartalfheim to free Tyr. In order to do so, they required a new method of travelling between realms due to Odin sealing off any possible realm travel from Tyr's Temple. The Huldra brothers, using their finished project, put the Bifröst lamp and Mimir's head in the machine, manipulating the energy from the lamp and casting it into Mimir's eyes, who then projected it onto an Yggdrasil gateway. With a few finishing touches from Brok and Sindri, this manipulated the realm gateways to respond to Yggdrasil seeds, meaning that Kratos and Atreus no longer required use of the travel bridge from Tyr's Temple or a Bifrost lamp to travel between realms, making realm travel much faster and more convenient.
